The Singapore registered cargo ship, Hoegh Osaka, lying on Bramble Bank in the Solent, between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight today, 7th January 2015. The car carrier was deliberately run aground on 3rd January 2015 following the ship developing a list. The ship is now listing at a 52-degree angle. A salvage operation by salvage company, Svitzer, was due to take place today, but is believed to have been postponed due to the ship taking on more water than was previously thought.
