Mint Insects_RAR_01.jpg
© Rob Arnold. 07/08/2014. Hampshire, UK. A bee on Black Mitcham peppermint in the fields on the Malshanger estate. The peppermint will soon be harvested to be turned into tea and oil, which is used in chocolate making and other food products. The farm grows mint, lavender and camomile as their 'aromatic' crop, along with the staple farm crops such as barley and wheat. The oil is available direct from Summerdown Mint, but is also available from Neal's Yard in London. The tea is sold at leading retailers nationwide, including Booth's, Harvey Nichols, Partridge's & Waitrose. Photo by Rob Arnold
